Default Let's talk Mercury direct replacement Heat Exchangers:

I have a 496HO Heat Exchanger that has gone south. I don't know how bad, don't care. I'm going to replace them on each engine.

Mercury Mercruiser replacement (direct from BAM's website):
863903A01
$1106.77 each (in stock at several locations across country, readily available)

Monitor Products http://monitorpro.com/products/item.php?i=49&f=16&c=34
A5300-9900
$690.00 each (In stock, and ready to ship this week)

SeaKamp (sold by KE/Hardin) http://www.keperf.com/p-22274-mercru...exchanger.aspx
542-863903-T
$685.99 each (will ship this week, direct from manufacturer

R&D Enterprises http://www.rdent.net/index.html
I can't get them on the phone unfortunately and their website doesn't say much.

Sen Dure http://www.sen-dure.com/products-pag...ger-in-copper/
$800 each (4-6 weeks to manufacture and ship; made to order)

Discussion:
Does anyone have experience with any of these other brands and/or products?

Sen Dure is out, because I am going to order this week and want to finish the season.

BIG thanks to member BUP aka John Mossetti for guiding me to a few of those options.
I think I've already made my decision, but looking for member input before I do.

I bought a monitor pro system for a 502 mag mpi. I recently had my engine rebuilt and went to a carbed 540. North of 600 hp. The monitor pro is keeping temps just fine. Very happy with the quality.

I know you said "no Sen Dure" but have used them over the years for many heat exchanger projects, they have always made us a great product including very large ones!
