Great event! This run has always coincided with some larger runs in the years past and this year it happens to be on it's own. With the OPA races completed this past weekend we'll be tearing up the waters again Saturday!!! It's usually a 55 boat turn out with great boats and great people! Hopefully some of the out of state guys will make the trip and more locals make it out. This is the same water where Outerlimits tests!! A few big ramps within minutes of the marina. WHO'S GOING?

If any one need anything my shop is 2 minuets away to help with anything. Won't be running but happy to help. Has always been a good turn out and the views are excellent t good water to run in any size boat. Some guys aren't on OSO but you will see an array of boats there.

The weather will be fine! It's getting close, any out of state guys coming and what are you bringing? Any cats coming other than the few here? I'm hearing at least 7 outerlimits will be there. It's calm water which gives the smaller boats a chance to run with the faster big boats. And of course the big boats will run fast!! This run has the opportunity to be one of the big ones in northeast. Well put together event!!

As of this am, weather is looking better for Saturday. Rain should be gone by 6-7 am Saturday morning. We need your video production skills.

Jeff from FreezeFrame wanted me to let everyone know that he'll be at the run taking pix of fly bys. He'll be on the barge Friday afternoon taking pix for those that get there early.

Weather does look better...maybe a spot shower. 2 years ago it did rain a bit and we still had 30 boats!! Rain or shine it goes on....this is a fund raiser for local children. Same stops as last year? It's a great run hope there's a good turn out. A little rain never hurt anyone. I bet next January when we're having a blizzard people will say " man I wish I did that poker run in the warm rain instead of sitting around" lol!

We will be down there with the Cafe. I pre-registered specifically so I wouldn't get cold feet and back out because of a little rain or something like that.

I'll stop by tomorrow after I get out of the fire station and do my registration. If it rains oh well

We are probably a no go...typically like to make a nice boating weekend out of it Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. With weather being questionable all weekend doesn't make much sense. Not only that but I don't feel like towing home in the rain with no cover, etc. Yes I am being a baby we haven't missed this event for the past 3-4 years. Hope you guys have a good turnout!!!

Don't get punked by the weather stations!! They're saying widespread showers so what does that mean.? THEY HAVE NO IDEA! !! Besides boats go faster in the rain, it makes the water greasy!!! JK! It's not LOTO or the buffalo run or the key west run but it's one of the biggest runs in southern New England. It's worth the ride, well put together event by the Borden crew!!! Just think guys we'll be buying the pink shot in a couple months to winterize.
Can't wait to run tomorrow! !!!!

It's New England we can be the only poker runners in the country wearing the " wicked tuna" orange rain suits going a 100!!

A true offshore attitude!!

Oh boy here we go with the true offshore attitude commentary. Who on here is traveling out of state to attend? And no I don't mean RI to MA. I mean NH, CT, NY, etc.

It's all in good fun. Poker runs aren't as big in New England as other parts of the country so it's just fun to get as many guys together as possible. Plus , yes, summer is drawing to an end. Will be fun no matter who shows up!

And from what we have been told in the past....this is the poker run that is the most fun! Very casual and a good time. It is all about raising money for the local children!!!:thankyouthankyou:
