The bracket appears to be riveted on to the coil, so that's probably why the non cross referancability (new word ?) part # wise.
Bones you hefty on $$$ too.
If I can get the right Delco coil, obviously I'll have no problem drilling out the rivets and screwing or bolting the bracket back on.

Drill out the rivets and use a small bolts and nuts to reuse the old bracket from the original. to mount up the new coil you are trying by . Bought them in the past all the time that way and think they were Borg Warner from OReillys and worked and lasted with no problems.
also AC delco has them or least did at one time. I use to get them thru them as well but forgot the number of it. bring your coil in to see if AC Delco can match it up with no bracket.

here found this box with the OEM bad coil in my garage - yes in my garage the mini boat warehouse.
I think this is what you need but double check on it

By pictures. LOL. ACDelco does not provide a vehicle list for this part #.
So, I went to Amazon, typed in ACDelco ignition coil, and by about the 500,000 page (LMAOF) I found it.
Seriously, about page 40 or so. Damn.
