yes it is and i would not be the slightest bit nervous about doing it either, we have a saying . . . . its only fiberglass and its sitting right there in the drum just needs to be made into a shape :D
it just comes down is it worth it. If I really had to have THAT boat i would have no prob fixing it. It would take more time and money then its worth but my time to me is free (so to speak). I doubt it would cost prohibitive in any way to try and pay a true professional to put that together. Off the top of my head, i dont know . . . forty - forty five grand without access to the molds . . . with access maybe half that. I've done similar repairs with great results, one of which was a hundred forty mile an hour cat five years ago that has logged race after race without so much as a single stress crack on any repair or seam i did. I cut nearly sixteen feet off the port sponson from the tip back and nearly all the way up to the top of the tunnel.
