Default Volvo dpx drives

I am looking to get smaller props. I have a 340 Powerquest vyper boat with Volvo dpx drives with e4 props. I repowered the boat from 525s to stock carb 502s. The e4 props r wayyy too big anyone has any information if I can go to a f series prop r do I have to stay with an e series because an e2 is the smallest they have. Any information would be helpful

Thanks a lot
C Roussel

As far as I know, the E-series are all that fit. That being said, I seem to recall someone telling me they ran F-series on their Formula 382 w/ 600s. You might try and get a hold of Hill Marine as I believe they were doing some stuff with, and for, DPX props.

just some Volvo prop info for whomever if it helps. Go down to page 19 for the DPX not much to offer from Volvo. I am a Volvo Penta dealer as well.

I think your best bet would be to go to some other Owners forums that use the Volvo Penta and poke aroound. Try the Chaparral, Monterey, Four Winns type and see what you get and of coarse Craigslist.

any good prop shop should be able to cut down the props you have cheaper than experimenting with new. (I am assuming this would work for dpx props)
