Default Buddy broke his outdrive

Just a reminder, make sure both drives are lift at the same time. A friend of mine had loaded his boat and raised the drives but only one came up and snap. I guess the tie rod joints were stronger than the cast aluminum.

Tie bars have heim joints for a reason. there is more to the story, or his bar didn't have heim joints. I have personally seen may twin and triple set ups where 1 engine dies wile on the water. It is common practice to lift he dead engine's drive up and get back to dock/ shore on the other engine.....
