Also, is there any truth to the rumor of Cigarette going with huge price increases in the near future?
If so, it will make the used boats worth much more. Just like what has happened with Outer Limits.

I already am insured in FL waters as I hve kept it down there for the past few yrs & used it 7 or 8 times over the winter with the FL powerboat club.
Crazyhoarse, You couldn't get my boat any farther away from CA without leaving the States. I'm in CT (but I can Fed Ex a video tape).

Dave...being associated with the real estate industry, we find that many times the first offer is the best. You've had it on the market for some time now. Sometimes if a house has been on the market for a long time, it gets shopworn and people start wondering whats wrong with it. I'm as puzzled as everybody else why that boat hasn't sold. You've had it in Powerboat, internet and Ocean Performance. It seems you done all the right things. Although real estate is a different product, I think some of the concepts are similar here. Do you know a broker in FL that will give you honest input into whether or not there would be interest down there for this boat during the winter months? This economy blows and it seems that the buyers have the upper hand this time. I'd see if you can get him up a couple of grand and sell it. Steve

DJD,
$50,000.00 Cash. Ship It!!!
By the time you take it to FL. Pay a 10% Broker fee. Put "Sea Trial" hours on it. Deal with "potential Buyers" You will be right back at $50K or lower and have a bad taste in your mouth about the whole process (Not that you already dont) Take the money and spend it on something you want, as oppesed to holding onto something you dont.
