They are not that bad at all , the only problem you might have is drilling the holes for the extension boxes just make sure they are straight and the boxes will go on real easy

If it's a staggered application they may have to full in the notch to allow them to be mounted low enough.

When the zrc full staggered boat was done small pods were made to cover the front of the boxes so they would not drag in the water

Bought them for my 04 T/S Gun, Rik has answered all the questions that we have had. He said the notch is fine just to drop them down as low as possible. What props are you spinning?

Herring 5 blade 18 dia x 33' s 16 rake . I'll probably wind up going with 17.5's with 18 degrees of rake 34's after we dial it in over the winter.

The one that was done here was installed the same way , seemed to work real well

Marginmn, with a staggered setup and the arnesons doesnt that have a ton of stern lift? Is that why you want to go with the 18* rake props?
