I'd like to say that that boat was run hard and put away wet, but it doesn't look like anyone ever put it away at all. The radar arch looks to be the cleanest thing on the boat. Guess they never got around to installing the actual radar, or they might not have gotten caught.

Compare this to the 38 Pantera w/o power & drive but basically new that was for sale in the classifieds earlier and the Pantera was a steal. The Cigarette someone is debating on selling for 50K is also a steal compared to this.

$ 34,100 bid? maybe the bidder knows that somewhere in that heap of a mess is still some unfound treasure waiting to be claimed

Good luck to whomever buys that.

Saw this boat........its an ex customs boat......pictures dont do it any favors..it will clean up much nicer than what it appears....a little cleaning and polish will go a long way..hull seems to be solid from what I saw....it does need an interior and engines/drives....and I dont know what would be involved with removing the bottom paint...but for someone with time and experience this could be brought back, if you are done with the sonic this could be your next project Fred....
