I find it very sad, that these stories, are just way too common around here. Oso used to be a brotherhood where you didn't peddle off your junk to other members, and if you did, you were honest about what it truly was.

Ron Potter was originally with Innovation and was the master behind all the great Nor-Tech engines from the early to mid 2000's.

I had the privilege of driving the old Speed Racer MTI catamaran twice with its then-owner Bob Christie on the throttles. The boat was powered by Potter 1350s that were as manageable and reliable as they come. We ran it up to 135, 140 mph a couple of times with lots and lots of throttle left (but way beyond my skill set and comfort level). Getting there was easy with those engines.

Since then I've dealt with Ron Potter and Christie on several editorial projects and both are a pleasure to work with. If Ron treats his customers the same way he's treated me during the years, and I have no reason to expect he doesn't, they're in good hands.

I remember the piece you did when Speed Racer was in Ron's shop...his place is still as spotless as it was back then!
