What are the current model hulls made from ?

our models are all hand laid glass. No plastic crap

How does the handling and "hop" (porpoise) compare to Horizons Geico? I ask because I have one complete boat and an extra hull. Would welcome feedback before I spend hours playing with the hull/weight to get it to run right
