Thanks guys. The accent looked like a crumpled piece of paper. She was cut out of it. The engine of the accent was found 40-50 ft away from the car. I wish her and her family the best.

ICU - glad you are mostly okay...wow !!!

Neighbor had same type accident the other year. Him and his SRW crew cab Dodge 1500 (only 4yrs old or so) vs a girl with a Honda. She died instantly, he was in a hospital for better part of the year. He is just about physically (I don't know if mentally - still haunts him badddddd !) to go back to work....his work is labor instensive. Boy was he physically a mess. Broken bones all over from face/head all the way down to legs/feet.....tons of surgeries.

And he was wearing his seat belt that day.

2 lane highway. 65 mph speed limit. She came in his lane. His motor ended up behind his truck.

Was it a Briggs and Stratton motor?

Dear God, that looks horrific! I am glad you are ok and sorry you are experiencing this. That truck absorbed one hell of an impact by the looks of it.

Really glad to see you're ok and show a lot of character with your comments for the other person involved. I see this in my job everyday and I'm amazed how far design and technology has come for the vehicle to take more of the impact rather than the occupants. Hope you have a good recovery.

Man, that sucks, glad your ok. We just drove from that way a few weeks ago in the RV coming back from Disney.

I guess they will be adding the wire dividers to that section soon???

Thanks guys. Maybe a simple guardrail down middle of median wouldn't cost a lot and would prevent and or limit a full head on the highway like this.
