Yes they spun out, approaching the accident scene as a patrol boat was blocking the course. although under caution and they were NOT running wide open they had no where to go!

Wow, good recovery by them, if they don't have that issue they win that race no problem. They were still able to almost run down CC

I remember when the far turn was at a boat anchored near Dry Tortugas. Then coming back by Rebecca Shoals you always had big water there and then finally you could see land again and knew that Key West was just over the horizon. Circle racing with offshore boats like they do today is not the fault of the racers, they will race on any course anywhere in the world. They have been sold a bill of goods by the sponsers and promoters, that they need tiny non challenging courses. Maybe some day it will change back!
