Impressive, nice driving too! Having a Hydrostream Voyager XT, I know it can be challenging to keep that hull on the pad at speed

Not a turbine but otherwise correct. I think he ran similar speeds. There is a reason Donzi Classics have a cult following!

I have no desire to chase these speed numbers! It would be useless on the Great Lakes anyway. I put together the durable offshore package that I wanted. Stan's boat is a work in progress. I don't know who built his engine but it is said to be capable of 1,200 hp at max boost. When properly dialed in it should run around 125. IMO he needs to rethink his set-up though. It's not that hard to make these boats run fast once they are dialed in and have no bad handling issues. They respond very well to power. I could drop in a 1,500 Sterling with offshore mounts and run 140. Bjorn obviously did some hull work as the hull is blurred out in his flyby video. I'm betting that he added a pad! I only have an old crappy video of an 83 mph flyby in my boat.

Very cool. I can only imagine you don't get to many volunteers to ride with you.

It was a SBC 436" with a procharger. direct drive/arneson setup. I wanted to buy that boat in the worst way years ago when George had it FS in Connecticut. It ran 120MPH. It made low to mid 700HP if I recall?
