According to Dave Hemingston there were only 12 or 14 built, and I know of 3 that have crashed (barrel rolled). That said chances are slim with about 10 or 12 left in existence. There are about 3 sitting without power (top photo I think is yours).

As far as running Arnesons I would think the notches would have to be filled...I do think they would work on that hull. They have been known to porpoise when transitioning to air out.

I bought the yellow one on the bottom we are repairing it it had number sixes but was thinking of putting arnesons on it

Just ask rik wimp from arneson ,he will give you a honest answer on it ,if it dont work he will say it .
he probaly will chime in here as well |
They will work, I cannot think of a reason that they wouldn't work.
As for the notch, that might need to be addressed or it might not as I don't have any information on the bottom for me to say correctly one way or another but at it's worst case scenario it's only a minor amount to have to worry about. What power are you wanting to use? |

Minor amount to have to worry about? A minor amount of money to fill in the notch? What deems it needing to be addressed or not? Looks pretty large to me.
