Even as an adult and doing o.k. as an actress, Collins is still in her life. Few years ago she had children, Collins was in Vancouver for the births and he treats those kids like his own grandkids. Not many people decide to adopt their significant others children and stay in those children's lives after the relationship goes south. Rarely if ever do they pay child support. Collins is a cool guy worthy to be a fan of!

no doubt you described a great guy, but just for accuracy's sake, in american if you adopt a kid, and get divorced, that child is your legal financial obligation, no ifs and or buts. Phil very likely knew this and still adopted the girl which only ads to his being such a great guy
