Tried a few pair also. I like Maui Jims. Can't remember the model, but the lenses are curved a tad....stay put really well and light weight.
Picked up a pair of Oakley Racing Jackets for $50 on sale...they are awesome. |
Check out Ocean Waves. I've worn them for years. Their lens coating is between layers so you don't have to worry about scratches. A little on the high end for price by great quality and many styles.

Check out your local motorcycle shop. I have bought a few pairs cost around $20.00 for a pair. Work great and if they go overboard no big deal. I have them with and without foam.

Oakley fuel cell.
I like that they are large to not allow air to get underneath but don't feel as if they will blow off when looking over either corner at speed. Polarized is a must regardless |
There is not a perfect pair that will work for everyone. Everyone's head is shaped different. That being said, I have several different styles of Oakley's and most work great.

Oakley monster dogs work great.they have a curve in the frame that works good .

Maui Jim with the Metal flex frames, they really hug your head tight.

My current and previous boats had little wind protection. I wear these when I am running, then just put my regular sunglasses on when I stop. You can get them with tinted lenses and the clear is good for night use. Plus they are cheap enough to carry a few spares.
