From factory no two cigarettes are the same. The red and white boats you reference did not come from factory like that. Well one might have but the other did not. Notice one is a 1994. That pint scheme wasn't even around back then.

In the interest of historical accuracy, I believe Al had 4 td's in one game. Here is a link for proof. I would hate to short my Chicago neighbors.

Tjay - former motorcycle roadracer, daddy of 5 yr old, driver of the mini van of sport boats. Hence my absolute sincerity in setting the record straight on this point.

I don't know why. No one was bashing fountain. For me personally fountain is synonymous with formula in terms of production where as cigarette is synonymous with say Outerlimits. Again not comparing speed, history, etc...just manufacturing and production settings. And not trying to bash the brand. Is that a fair assessment? What the hell do I know I own a 20 year old boat!!!

Mines 30 years old... lol, but I can say it's never been redone, or even had a transom due to a good build quality... rock solid..

Every boat built by cigarette is bought and paid for before it leaves the factory. Every color, detail is picked out by the future owner, right down to the stitching on the seats. Every boat is a "custom boat" built to the customers taste. I'm not sure how fountain ran their business but I know they built and floor planned a lot of unsold boats.
Fountain had dozens of dealers, Cig had maybe 1/2 dozen at any given time (US dealers) so naturally there were a lot more Fountains out there, many identical.
