Braided. When leaving, tug and go. Not worried about the line on the dock. Nobody gets that close to my boat.

How about those with poles at the dock ? I ask because pretty much every dock on our lake has wooden posts (most 4x4)....therefore some of us drape the rest of the line over the pole in a quick and easy to do orderly fashion.

My Neighbor Leaves his spring lines like that on his dock when he leaves too. for ease of coming back at night and not having to think about it.

I take all my stuff with me.
