Thanks for sharing the good and the bad.
Two things stand out, obviously the words "cancer free" are the best words we can ever hope for but a fairly close second was the fact that while you were under treatment/diagnosis you had the balls to go out and buy a bigger Fountain. That's a positive attitude and probably helped you through.
So happy for you to read of your recovery.

Started this thread almost three years ago as a fun project and it really was that..............a bunch of fun...........expensive................but fun
So where are we three years later:
Sold Formula with stock 454 power to a nice couple with 2 kids. See them almost every weekend and they love it. Sold it for what I paid
Engine: Removed and sold it to a guy for 12K Not much market for used high performance engines. Lost around 13K on that
Found out in December 2016 I had cancer.
Purchased 35 Lighting in April of 2017 because I found out how short life can really be.
Lost bladder, prostate, 2 feet of small intestines and my left kidney, but as of today, I'm cancer free.
Life is short folks.............Play hard at what you love.

Thanks for all the prayers and support. Took about a year and a half, down some major body parts, but we kicked cancers ass to the curb! Now on with life! In my humble opinion, having the C word dropped in your direction, is the perfect time to buy that toy you've always wanted......................Really love my Fountain ! Wife and I have been going to some local poker runs around NC/SC that support some good causes. We are trying to start a Poker Run here on Lake Norman that will support local children with cancer. It will be June 1st each year starting 2019.
