Default 400R steering

Will the built in steering in the 400R work with my current hydraulic system- Real question being will it work with a Capilano helm, or does it HAVE to be an electric over hydraulic system?

It will not work with a non-pressurized system. There are a few different ways to go. I would contact Latham Marine. Bob has a HP pump set up that is really nice. Mercury makes one but IMO is not strong enough for a 100+,mph boat.
It will be a 4 hose system.
