I just picked up a Miami Vice Scarab too....a plastic Monogram scale model lol. I collect and restore old 1980's vintage Tamiya RC buggies and was at an estate sale last weekend that had some vintage Tamiya buggies listed for sale so I went and checked it out. I didn't pick up any RC buggies but I scored an unassembled Miami Vice model in its original box for $15

Saw one of the Miami vice scarabs at LOTO this weekend driving around on the water at lake race. I'm not sure if it a show boat or a production copy but it looked great it looked like the season 2 scarabs. Very cool.

Most likely Boatme's old boat. Might have had Port of St. Louis on the transom. It was at Anchor Marine for awhile. Currently the only Vice Edition in the Loto area that I'm aware of.
