Salt water is a preservative for saturated stringers...they freeze at a much lower temp also.

Unfortunately no.

The boat will desolve on contact pretty much.just know any pics over the years you have seen of a boat in a body of salt water is sure to be a photo shop if that boat is still around today.

So true, all the High dollar rigs that run to Key West every year for the Miami poker runs, are just JUNK after those runs....

He was trying to keep that a secret, so keep that on the hush.

The poor folk that buy his boats after the key west run don't know they just bought a giant, rotted, pos.

I ran out of paint stripper once. I used salt water and it stripped the paint in 10 minutes.

Amazing stuff!

You guys laugh. I have actually been boating in saltwater all my life, and I know what I'm talking about. See? My inboards never see salt. My outboards only see salt. All of my boats are old, and still run, but they look old. But they run.
