I believe Renken made a similar boat to the GT-150/GT-160 in the early 70's, then Glastron became affiliated or became a division of Renken in the 80's. I'm betting the Renken guess is correct.

EDIT: I was wrong, Glastron wasn't a division of Renken, Hammond Boat Co was part of Renken. Hammond Boat Co was started by Robert Hammond, formerly of Glastron.

It's such a wave crusher the only speed is full throttle. Notice the stick.

They put the leaves in it to hide the floor, they should have put some on the seats.

tempting....... ok im back
that flying go fast was my first boat. my parents bought one brand new in 1971 & i bought it from them with my grad money. i thought i was bad to the bone, merc 90hp 6cly. top out at 47mph full of fuel with 4 people or 1 person empty on fuel. man we had some young and dumb fun in that thing. we would take it out in lake michigan in what i would think twice about now. best thing about that boat is when i sold it. the guy took it on july 3rd, and he was running all over just wasted. on plan in no wakes and had no idea what he was doing. called me at 7am on 4th of july wanting his money back because the boat sank. so i went and picked him up to go out and see what went wrong. got to the marina and every blade on the prop was knocked off and there was 2 holes on the side of the boat the size of your fist?? i turned to him and said i don't think you bought it this way. to this day he thinks i owe him something.
