when i went out for the test ride in my 38 fountain the port motor broke the lunati forged 4.5 stroke crank,it took the main cap with it.needless to say that was a bargaining chip for me.i planned on going through the engines anyway.

Never used up a GM cast but I killed a couple of GM forged units.

Have seen a few cast cranks in the std peanut port app snap , really kind of a bizzare failure.
Have seen them come out of the womb with different sized bearings too ,to get them out in the market.
Think the guy running the cast bbc crank division at the general must of been somebodys relative..
