Exclamation San Jacinto River Winter Nationals This Week

San Jacinto River Winternationals 2016
I can confirm that the annual outlaw side by side test and tune event will run on 1/16/2015 at Cypress Cove Marina http://cycoast.com/directions/

We had over 600 paying spectators last year, saw many people I have not seen in years.

Everyone is welcome, if you have a jet, flat bottom or egg beater come on out and see how it compares.San Jacinto River Winternationals

The course is 660' usually down river, however that depends on the wind direction, the faster boats prefer the wind behind them.

Directions by road are here http://cycoast.com/directions/

If you come by boat there is room in the cove normally.

Best viewing spot is on the bulkhead deck in front of the building, bring a couple of folding chairs.

Cool video. Looks kid friendly. Is it? Are you in Rio Villa?

Yes, it is kid friendly. Not Rio Villa, though I spend a lot of time there, I live about a 1/3 mile above Banana Bend and safely out of the flood plain.

Should be food and beer available.

Saturday was another awesome day, well over 200 passes, + a top gun shootout between 8 boats that included a flatbottom, outboards, alky hydro and the winning jet which is the one in the video
