My first album was Eagles Greatest Hits, 1971-1975. I recall family trips out west in our Ford van listening to that on 8-track along with Fleetwood Mac, Abba, Neil Diamond. lol
The Eagles had that strong southwest feel for me. Perhaps that's how I relate them. Or maybe something to do with Winslow, AZ.
