In the waves today, that is. 3 to 5s right now subsiding to to 1 to 3s later on. At least that's what the weather man says. Sounds like fun. Anybody going out of Holland, Grand Haven or Muskegon? I am thinking about it. The way this weather is looking it might be the only chance to run the boats for a while. What do you think. Meet somewhere maybe 2 or 3 o'clock, go for a ride and then have a pop or two. Any takers?

Doug, Mitch and I are putting in at Dutton in Holland in aabout an hour (I'm at work at the moment). Around noon or so. BGIII may be heading out this way also.

It was ROUGH!!! I think all the 3 footers went home and left the 5 footers alone to deal with anyone who ventured out!!!!
Thanks a lot for the help and the ride today Mitch. Appreciated!!
And you to MacDad......get the big motor back in that boat!!!

It was a beautiful day even if the lake was rough. Big waves with no pattern. Kinda fun though, even if high speed was not an option.
Nice meeting you Mitch and Mrs. Mitch. You owe me one.
Mike, what can I say? Last time out by myself I was .5 mph faster!

It was great out there today. 70 deg water and air temp, no clouds and 5 foot waves with a few 6-7s. I have a 20ft Zodiac and we had it 2-3 feet out of the water a few times. There were a few times when you had time to feel the fall it was so long. Played in the shore break and side swiped some 5 foot waves that broke right on us and they just pushed the boad down the trough. I have had 10 footers break on the stern and fill the boat. It just keeps going and the water is sucked out two big drains. There is almost no way to flip or sink this thing but I'll keep trying.
