I would think a torsion axle would handle the tight turn stress better than a leafed due to the rubber absorbing the pressure as the tire skids along the pavement. That said the first time I watched my friend back his boat with a triple axle trailer I couldn't believe how much force was being put on the sidewalls of the tires, not to mention bearings and any and everything else.

Is there such a thing as an over built trailer?
I don't think others on the road would think so. If you need to save money, go with a cheaper boat. |
I'll add a nod to Owens & Sons. I believe in the Tampa area?
I've seen a trailer built for a 32 Skater that was a very nice looking setup, strong, and seems to be a quality build. |

Mycos are pricey for sure but well worth it. We currently have 4 myco trailers and 2 cradles and wouldn't buy anything else.

Check out Integrity trailer here in west michigan, they make really nice trailers. I've pulled some to Florida , they pull just as nice as my Myco's .
