Raypanic,
That Sunsation sure looks Trick! I have never seen a flip up dash like that. The center bolster, side by side set up is also somthing I have never seen in a V-hull. Sunsation defineitly looks like their pulling out all the stops on this one.
Do you have any side shots of it?

We have a 48' Express here. They look OK but, anyone who knows hulls and tunnels will tell you it is very antiqueted. The tunnel is like the old Shaddow ad Chris Cat-straight! It doesn't take a genius to see why the cavitate and porpoise. To stop that, you need compression. To creat any compression the tunnel must be narrower toward the rear of the hull (lift). Kind of a no-brainer. Take a peek at a Spectre or Skater.

I thought it was a pretty good show this year. The Sunsation Innovator was pretty cool and you gotta love the big Cig with the torque v-12's, allthough I think it was there last year.
Did you see the 38 Avenger at the far end of the show. It had been at a repo lot all summer and I heard it sold for low to mid 90's. Boat show special...134K.

Flashback: No side shots but it does have a couple of steps quite far foward. Only bad thing I noticed was the "clamshell" doors for the dash has a foot rest that comes up from the floor. This seemed weak or it was not anchored down properly. Basically it was loose. The rear deck was very nice with a few nonskid steps. It must be strong though as it didn't creak or crack under my load. It was a little hard to get around the bolsters to get behingd the wheel (for me). But once there it is quite a different view. It seems you are sitting very low in the boat and the dash is right in front of you. Kind of on the high side.
Bill 272, yes I did see the PQ at the far end, "never titled" was the quote. I also seen a 1999 that I had looked at over two years ago. Still for sale 138K I beleive. It was 148K two years ago. It has 525SC's and stellings boxes. Old hull design and pretty beat up and sightly faded, Seeing this boat makes me feel a little better about mine. There as a new 380 PQ there with the black colors on the side with a big Powerquest logo, Looked OK but I dont like black, There was a 340 there too.
