So now that you determined that a stock 502 magnum or a 420 would be a economical base point for a blower motor where do you go from there?
Is a Procharger the most efficient blower out there? Can you get away without an inter cooler on it. ? Or would you be better with a under driven 420 or 8-71 without a cooler so you might be able to keep it under the hatches? |
Tim you need new cams anyways, may as we'll make them blower cams. Another 8 to 10 thousand could have that Mistress running 77 maybe:daz::

Ive been running for years without intercoolers, and have held it wot for alot longer than 30 seconds at a time. Closer to 30 miles wide open on funs runs .

I have 700hp blower motors and love them.
That said, I would take 700 N/A motors any day for the fact they have way fewer moving parts, belts, and potential for things to go wrong and if built right can run on 89 octane. I am running 93 octane which is getting harder to find on the water. |
