Wow Boot!
Sounds like an almost perfect 1st time out. Always going to be some little odds and ends pop up their ugly heads. Glad you kept that impulsive arm in check. Damned hard to do, but it pays off later for sure.
We had a great day out yesterday too. 15-25 mph winds out of the north. 1-2 ft chop makes for lots of fun in my little Checkmate. Have to keep up the crazy man image for the lake with about 2.5' of air under the prop. Wahoo!! Love it. Especially when the wife is riding in the other's big boat.
Offer still stands! Love to see that thing running when you get it all sorted out. Good speeds already too.

Glad to hear everything went smoothly first time out. I boat\live on the atlantic, so ill keep an eye out for a certain red white and blue express cat. Make sure you give it some motor when you pass belmar, so i can hear you coming.
I've always liked checking boats from my deck with my telescope which works fine with most boats, but the performance ones are long gone b4 i can get the damn thing set up. Yes, i just bought a new pair of binocs last weekend, so ill be ready.

Hi Ron, Sorry ,My props are turning in ....... I know ,I know ...
I got to get it running right first . Then I'll try the old engine ,drive , and prop swap ! I forget , Will turning them in or out give more bow lift on a cat . It does turn better now but it is WAY different then a v bottom . It likes to slide it's fat ass through the turns ! SO bad that a non boater friend asked me if we hit a patch of ice !
