It's all about the details... The little things are what will make the boat more capable/enjoyable. Most of the big things have to be done to the boat to call it a boat, but the little things like the bigger cup holders so were not worrying about our drinks falling out or having to look for our phones while were in a hurry trying to beat a record are what will make the boat better.
Tristan will put them on the Skater Apparel website for sale tomorrow. WWW.Skater-apparel.com . |
Will you have people in the back seats for the big journey?

Tie Bar Clevis:
I was digging through the scrap bin at Skater and found some tie bar mounts that go on top of the drive that were a little longer then normal and have the "c shape" clevis mount. They have not been able to use them because the pin size was different then what all the tie bar manufactures are using. So I decided to use them since they are a tiny bit longer it will clear my tunnel extension/steps better and I like the idea of the pin being supported from the top and bottom instead of just the bottom. And instead of just making the bushing to adapt to a tie bar we decided to make the tie bar and clevis's. Here is a before and after of the clevis. We decided to make brass bushings for them instead of the plastic ones they normally use and put a grease zert in the clevis. |
