It rattled me that you were prototype testing without a pfd and possibly a lanyard. Be safe and please keep posting, I love this thread. Sounds like a bad diagnosis on the engine.

I spent some time reading this entire thread last night. Good God I'm beyond impressed with your passion toward this project. Thank you VERY much for posting everything and best of luck chasing those records. I can't wait to follow along.

I hope I am proven wrong after all your hard work on this build but I still have my doubts about the reliability of the engine and gearbox package.
The loads placed on these in such a large boat is really going to test them to the max especially the lightweight casting of the block as there renowned for failure in high torque applications. Worst case scenario billet options are available. Keep up the good work is certainly an ambitious build. |

Lets hope it doesn't look like this 1300hp Cummins after six 1/4 mile runs.
Watching this I didn't realize the Cummins doesn't have cross bolted mains, even a mains cap girdle will struggle to hold this together. |
