Start to Finish: Building Our 50' Skater
#1731

The new engines showed up at Skater yesterday so I drove up here last night and started getting the engines ready to go back in. I had to make some different rigging parts so they are not just plug and play.
There is a street party /boat show Friday afternoon and Friday night in Muskegon and a fun run on Saturday. I’m going to try to finish the boat by Friday afternoon and make it to the street party. And possibly run it on Saturday.

how about the cooling , piston swelling issue ? did you end up using
the bypass thermostat housing you posted on page 171, post 1709
no doubt you got it resolved, just surprised we haven't seen it.
how about the left and right side overdrive boxes?
good luck this weekend and the lead up as well, don't forget the go pro's

Does leaving the boat tilted make the engine install easier? LMAO

and maybe lots of alcohol and a stripper pole would be helpful too...
