so the engines are plumbed together in some fashion as a type of redundancy ?
is the cross over tube you mentioned from strainer to strainer, or how ?
would like to see how that's done as well as the thermostat circuit.

do you have or have you debated being able to close off the water coming in from the pickups
via a valve before the strainer that is normally open,
then from the strainer, a T with a valve on the end that is normally closed and has a hose going down into the bilge.

in the event of flooding close the valve before strainer, and open the valve from the strainer and use flooding water
for cooling thereby using the engine(s) as a bilge pump ?

was hoping this was going to be the summer of shakedown cruises for that boat of yours, it could still happen tho

Ok, so I'm not what someone would call "mechanically inclined". I just watched 'Skater at dusk' video. Very cool how it goes from day to night. I have to ask what are the 2 components on each motor that were glowing red after running hard? Are these pieces cast? Can you widdle something up on the CNC that would some how be cooled/jacketed? It just seems that anything getting that hot for that long could be problematic.........................

cast iron exhaust manifold and turbine housing. They can handles it.

If you can figure out how to whittle something hollow id love to hear about it. Creating water jacket components isn’t easy.
