Goo to hear you are still at it and good to hear you are able to find the time to work on your own project as it seemed like for alot of the build you were getting your biggest steps going forward when the snow was/was about to fly.

Awesome Build!

Beeech Blows some Smoke when exhaust welds let go.
Tristin was like - "Tyson I don't think that is RIGHT" lol

This is the video from when Quinlan from the post above met me at the lake to help us take it out. Welded a few things and went to test some different props. It broke a different weld before we even got on plane.

Bummer

Unreal you had that many welds on a brand new rig that were faulty.... keep at it eventually the whole bilge will just be filler rod 😂🤣

This is the exhaust pipe between the two compound turbos In the above video. It split apart so far I thought there was a pie shaped piece missing till I got it out of the boat. There is a stainless steel flexible bellows on that tube so it was not a stiff connection.

Was all that bad welding in the Fab from the engine builders?

Wobble 08-27-2019 12:15 PM

Damn, that is some depressing stuff. I do admire your perseverance.
