so what do you figure the boat weighs? 15,000 lbs?

27k lbs isn't too bad if you never travel with any fuel in the boat. :eekdrop:

Lol, how many gallons did he say this thing holds?

Right now the boat weighs 13,030 lbs. There is around 1,000 lbs of rigging left to put in it.

The boat has around 1/3 more glass then a normal one which makes it actually twice as strong. Kind of the same principal as a truss.

We weighed one of my Cummins today, (complete, closed cooling, waterjacket turbo, alternator, starter, oil coolers, ect.) ready to run and it weighed 1,445 lbs. Then we weighed a merc 1350 (complete ready to run) and it weighed 1,340 lbs. So the diesel is only 100 lbs heavier. My transmission is about 140 lbs heaver then the merc. but mine is technically a two speed and can spin the prop in or out full time at full power with the flip of a switch, and it is also my drop box.

It holds 1,400 gallons of fuel

On the trailer I have solenoids to control the air going to the front two axles separate from the back two axles.

I hooked the scale up to the tongue of the trailer and put it at the height it is when hooked to the truck and with all the axles having air in them the tongue weight was 2,900 lbs. With just air in the front two axles the tongue weight was 1,900 lbs (makes it easier to move around parking lot with a forklift or normal size truck) and with only air in the back two axles the tongue weight was 4,200 lbs . That will help get traction when going up steep boat ramps.

But that 100 lbs heavier also comes with 850 less horse power on each side. Plus the weight of fuel. What's Jeremy's hold up with the Dmax's ?

Inline 6 cylinder diese, nuff said.....I can't wait to see what happens when you start tweaking them.

Tyson...the boat and rig look AWESOME! You circled around us in the parking lot on Friday prior to the Street Party in Muskegon...I was busy helping my buddy with some steering issues on his 42 Fountain. Really wanted to get down to the party, but didn't make it in the water and to our slip until about 7 pm.

Can't wait to see it in the water!

Yeah, but do you have side-side and three-wheel-motion modes? (Or maybe five.) :D
