Sold my 288 Sunsation in August with the intention of buying a certain boat...deal fell thru, was absolutely zero on the used market I was interested in that I could afford....got frustrated....bought a Jeep with the intention of playing with that instead of boats for a couple years...first nice day, I had that longing feeling of loss in the pit of my stomach thinking of going a single summer without a rig....sold the jeep....boat shopping again :) I'm a broke-dick though, looking at 10+ year old boats...but at least I'm moving up a couple years, and couple feet from where I was! |

2014 trade up to a 252 Formula Spring of 2016 added High Performance 540 Stroker to 252 (See my "Building a Sleeper" post) That should at least count for 2 and 3 quarters |

Used once before being replaced by boat #2 the very next weekend 2. 2002 crownline 192br lpx look a like 5.0 corsa exhaust 3. 1984 Checkmate enforcer 24' mild built sbc 4. 1994 Checkmate 18' persuader 350 sbc 5. 1997? Fourwinns U19 350 efi volvo sx single prop 6. 1989 Baja 226 sport 7.4 bravo 7. 1988? Checkmate starfire 4.3 4bbl 8. 2003 Baja Outlaw 20 5.0mpi 9. 2003 Crownline 202BR LPX 5.0mpi 10. 2007 Donzi 22 Classic 496mag HO Boats 4,5,6 all owned within the same season. I garage store all of mine so 24' is the limit and 20' to 22' is the sweet spot for me .At least for now ...... |
Last year sold my Formula 357 SR1 and bought my current 419 Formula FASTech. This makes my fourth Formula boat.

The number of boats for sale is way down from 2 years ago. Hard to find a clean one.
