Anyone open to "divulging"the lunch stop? I'd like to grab a bite and watch all machinery come in.

Not much of a lunch stop....but they have historically pulled into The Getaway on the St Pete side of the Gandy Blvd. This may be before the blast down to Fort De Soto!

River House Grill on the Manatee River would be a good stop too!

Last year had no storms but had some very kicked up water and wind that made for a lot of fun in the gulf. We ran from Sarasota in on the outside and it was a lot of fun.

Latest: SOUTHWEST WINDS 10 TO 15 KNOTS. BAY AND INLAND WATERS
A MODERATE CHOP. SHOWERS LIKELY AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.

Did you tow to Sarasota?

No my boat was brokered down there (Suncoast Powerboats) so I just drove down and rode it to the run.

This year I believe the run is within Tampa Bay so the wind won't be such a problem. Rain however...hmmm. Waves maybe 4 ft maximum....probably just a chop.
