My 525efi ran right around 150* REGARDLESS of RPM, or the temp of the water I was boating in. Oil temp would go up to 192*, then fall back to around 160* once the t-stat opened.

At first, I was concerned about the water temp too, but that's just the way it was. The motor ran great.

Dave what kind of boat is it in and what is top rpm ,speed ,and prop size

Unless you did a wide open throttle chop plug read you are worried about nothing. Rather be a little rich than lean any day.

30 Superboat, 5200 RPM with a labbed 28P bravo, or around 5000 RPMs with a 26P Maximus. The bravo was faster, usually around 78 MPH, saw 80 once or twice. 75 ish with the Maximus. Cool air and light load I could occasionally hit the rev limiter with the 28 bravo.

Took boat out on Saturday half a tank of fuel two people 26 pitch bravo 5300 RPM 73 miles an hour happy with water Tamp boat seem like it Had a slight miss every now and then under A load going to try new spark plug wires next .also boats missing the round android thing above the prop someone told me that can affect the speed
