I did not know him at all but always liked his thread Apache powerboats ............. and thats that.

I even liked the title that he started for that thread. It seemed he really loved Apaches.

Very sorry about his passing. It seems alot of guys in their late 40s and 50's thru 60's are having Heart attacks these days. Wonder if that was the cause. Again very sorry for his loss. John

Yes it does seem that way, it was reported J R Noble had a heart attack March 8th, ironically the same day I had a massive heart attack with 2 blocked arteries. He was 58 and I am 57 and now possibly Ed who was only 61.

I don't want to distract from Ed's Memorial thread, but if you are of a certain age, have family history and have a lifestyle that can lead to heart disease, please get yourself checked by a competent cardiologist. Oh and ask for more than just a stress test, etc, I had an Echo, arterial ultrasound and nuclear Stress test just 2 weeks before my heart attack and passed all with flying colors. Yet I still had a 90% blockage in one and 85% in another that required 3 stents.

Ed, you will be greatly missed by all you had the pleasure of knowing you, even by guys like me who had only the smallest of interactions with you here on OSO.

Dave
