I'll play...
Name: Dave
Age: 48
Occupation: Engineering Manager - New Products at Sporlan Valve (manufacturer of flow controls and stuff for HVAC&R). I too have a patent - #6,568,656.
Married 24 years and have a 16 year old daughter.

Always been a gear head and into speed. Built and drag raced a 10 second 67 Camaro thru high school and college. Dad got us (3 brothers and 1 sister) boating at a very early age. We ALL currently own boats and two of my brothers and I have slips at the same marina. Great family times during the season!

First boat - Talon 22 tunnel with twin 2.5's bought new in 1993. Added nitrous oxide and alcohol injection for the enrichment fuel. Did I mention I was into speed??

Our daughter was born and the fearless wife became a Mom and said time to slow it down a bit. Sold the Talon and a couple years later bought my 292 new in 2005. Really enjoy the 292. Tow it with a 2005 2500HD Silverado crew cab Duramax. Recently got a 2007 Ranger Reata fish & ski. Great boat for my daughter to learn to drive. That's about it!

LOL. Not exactly IN the Alps. Near. Called the foot of the Alps, just North where the Danube turns. Referenced in Europe as "The turn of the Danube", or "The Danube Bend", but it is a sweet spot.
