anyone know what they removed from WD40 when they reformulated the stuff

We use to start our sunk wave runners with it when we were in the rental business on the beach back in the day.

They would fire right off and the WD40 would absorb the water so we never had corrosion problems.

Tried to start my buddies Kholer generator the other day on it . Nope was like trying to fire it on water.
