Boats swapping ends

Good video about half way through of a test they did to get these boats to spin out. I love turning my boat hard, glad it doesn't do that. |

Wide open throttle hard turn with the motor all the way up? Even the slower turn they had the motor up, if that is the " test" for safe or not there goes jet skis.
Try that in your car. |
Trim it to the Moon and spin it out.
The Ralph Nader of boats , coming soon. Say goodbye to that boat company. |
Well as a flats boat they do it for shallow draft.
My old tigershark had big black fins sticking out the side of hull at the back with a slight downward angle. About 18" long and 3" wide. That thing would not spin no matter what you did to it. |
Look at the hull design, it doesn't take an engineer to figure out that it's going to have twitchy handling characteristic, there is nothing underwater beyond the first 3 or 4 feet of bow. It's not far off from being a swamp boat.

yep,,,,EL PESCADOR boats are crap and unsafe
they been building them for 20 yrs and 000,s of times they have tossed people out that 1 version was made from a sailboat bottom as why the bow is dragging and boat spins out on the bow sad part is its the weekend boater that gets hurt the 1 that is there for a fishing trip or ride not knowing the boat their on there are some very nice flats boats and then there is the backyard crap |
Its a tunnel hull flats boat with a jackplate.
There's nothing in the water to keep the back end from swapping around. |
I have a glass shop here in Houston
and have had many of these boats come through here not a full tunnel boat but yes they cut in a small " pocket " tunnel in the bottom at the last 3-5' for water to rise to get prop higher out of the water for the shallows that particular hull in video was the worst of them all as had a slick bottom on the back half with the front vee with the little keel still there from the boat they poped off of so when grab some wheel it nose digs and spins the transom from no grip of the rear of the bottom and prop high |
