Default Anyone Have Dyno Sheet For Stock 525?

would like to see hp and torque curves. See where the most power is. I've been told to run mine near 5,400 for max hp.

There was a post on Faceboook about the 525efi rev limiter. I thought it was 5400 but others were saying 5250. I know I had mine north of 5250 a few times.

It's 5,400. The Mercury service manual says max normal operating range is 5,200 with limiter kicking in at 5,400. It sure feels like the power is still building over 5,200.

5250 is the soft limiter and the light will start blinking but no power loss. 5400 is the hard limited and will start pulling timing if you hit it.

I get a beeper warning with no power loss so that must start at 5250.

That's perfect! Thanks much. I'll print that out.

Wait. I was thinking that was 567 hp! The 525 has been said to make about 540 hp. That dyno pull shows 467 max hp @ 5,300 at the prop. Does the drive real suck up 72 hp?
