they make starboard light , its gray in color and works well for marine cockpit interior stuff.

I have no idea what the specific structure is for the seat you're working on, maybe some more info would help. I work that that garbage all day sometimes if we're trimming out houses.
I think I'll go with dimensionally thicker pvc as the base support is large

I'm building seats for my center console right now with 3/4 pvc. 4x8 sheet 200.00
