Here in Arkansas, we have a training base for C-130s and we have a lot of flyovers by them on our local lake. Well, one day we had a friend of my GF on board and she just "happened" to flash her boobs when one was flying about 500ft overhead. Next thing we know this guy banks WAY hard and circles around and flys over at less than 100'! It was cool but kinda scary! Those things are huge!!!

The Coast Guard is always checking out boats down here.
It's their job...with the added benefit of checking out the women on board.
Fighter jets out of the Naval Air Station in New Orleans like to come in low and fast over Belle Pass near Port Fourchon and scare the hell out of everyone fishing the jetties.
You don't see them coming in from the gulf until they are right on top of you fishing rod high.
VERY cool sight...and LOUD!

That was a great product, used them on my Nordic. I wish they'd have sold their interest because there has to be a market for that type of thing.

Back in about 1949 we had a summer home on Pine Like near New Auburn WI. About four doors down was a cabin owned by the Burns family. Their son was a four star general in the Air Force. I am out on the lake in my Black Magic runabout and all of a sudden this huge shadow flashed over the boat. It was a B-29 at about 100 feet off the water obviously commanded by General Burns. It scared the bejesus out of me.

I think we've found the answer.

I love the idea of those WindAway's - I NEED to find something like that. I'd totally buy if someone was making them.

I've thought about looking into buying out their patent and make the clamps out of billet aluminum. They are a good product and have been reliable for years at 85 mph. If you lean on one and break it it's not hard to cut a replacement piece of plexi-glass.
