I'm going to screw up the humorous direction of this thread with a serious answer....

Patented hull design, layup methods/schedules, rigging, attention to detail, and customer support. Pat has a CULT following for many reasons.

You mean mine DID NOT run 112? Damnit!

Maybe my 700s are only 699s.

When you get a AT you add 4" and it is not just beak space

PARASAIL941 06-20-2016 06:08 PM

So your saying it doubles in size...

FYI - here is the boat . It is a bit more than I need, but can't say that about the want :-)

32's are not the fastest hulls out there. However, they ride well and they seem to handle the choppy/sloppy water very well. Very solid. Griff can probably answer specifics as he has one that used to be a Lake MI boat. I ran with that boat and one other 32 with my 32 Fountain for years. If it was calm, the Fountain was 4-5 mph faster with same power. However, the rougher it got, the harder it was to keep up with the AT's. The Fountain had to run on top in the rough, but those AT's ran well wherever you put them. I'd get beat up in 3'ers under 50 mph and the AT's sliced through it, and then stuck better when it got rougher. The Fountains are hard to keep in the water to keep up. Not that you wanted a beak/AT comparo, but I can speak to that at least :) Since I derailed the seriousness.....

Most Active Thunder ho's can be brought home to meet the family, not so much with the Fountain Skanks.
