Having grown up on the east side of the state and spent many hours on the St Clair River, I have a lot of respect for Tyler's driving / throttle skills. St Clair river is fed from Lake Huron and where he was at is pretty rolling, NEVER calm. Not to mention wakes from freighter traffic.

Have you ever been on Galveston Bay/Houston Ship Channel where all the Cargo and Tankers roll through? I, in no way meant any disrespect to Mr. Crockett or his helm skills AT ALL. I just agree that kind of speed in a 24' boat (in chop) sounds like a bad idea to me. That's what this internet boating is all about right?

The boat looked out of shape mid course when he stepped out of it IMO. I'm tired of reading about/seeing the demise of good guys pushing the limits in this sport. I'm wearing a Smith Power T Shirt today. Good Luck to all.
